How to effectively use NotebookLM as a Student

As an MBA student at the Wharton Business School, I've been using NotebookLM, a game-changing AI tool that has transformed my approach to learning. This AI tool has become an indispensable part of my study routine, particularly when tackling complex case studies and course materials. How I Use NotebookLM in studies

One of the most challenging aspects of an MBA program is dissecting complex case studies. With NotebookLM, I upload case documents and initiate a dialogue to deepen my understanding. For example, in a management strategy, scaling operations, global strategy courses I uploaded the case and study material and asked NotebookLM would right away summarize the case. By engaging with NotebookLM, I received insights directly related to the case material, helping me grasp key concepts like: Summary of the case, the key questions posed in the case, how the case maps to the class material

This targeted approach ensures that I'm not just memorizing general principles but understanding how they apply in specific business scenarios.

Course Material Comprehension

For each of my courses, I upload lecture notes, reading materials, and supplementary resources to NotebookLM. For the course material comprehension I explored all these options to:

• Clarify complex concepts by asking follow-up questions. In my recent Venture Capital Class I explored questions such as "What are the primary factors impacting the valuation of startup companies?"

• Explore connections between different topics within a course.

• Prepare for exams by simulating Q&A sessions based on the course content

One of the most recent feature of NotebookLM is to generate an audio overview of the content.
